This is a large oil on linen. There's nothing quite like painting on linen. I absolutely loved the small pastel I did en Plein Air so I used it as reference for this large piece. Recreating a piece is no easy feat! And from pastel to oil was a challenge. I like how this resolved itself with subtle differences from the smaller pastel.
